Due to ongoing COVID restrictions, it appears that many of the more than 30,000 5K, 10K and Marathons in the US and abroad will not be possible in 2021. Since closure for a second year threatens the very existence of many of these races, we at AccuRun will provide free access to any registered 501(c)(3) non-profit that would like to use the AccuRun virtual race management platform to make their race virtual this year. There are no catches or restrictions. While the AccuRun Bronze tier is always free-of-charge, the full-featured Silver tier is free as well to qualified organizations and their runners.
The only requirement for using the system free-of-charge is to provide a copy of your IRS nonprofit determination letter in the United States or appropriate documentation for races abroad. Once we have this, your organization may run up to five independent races using the AccuRun system at no cost to you or your participants.
AccuRun setup is very simple. Just navigate to https://www.accurun.com and click the New Organization button in the upper right corner. Then, click the Sign Up button under the Silver Tier heading, fill out the required information, and click Submit. You can then click the Create a New Race button to quickly set up your first race.
